Music Fabric

Description

Another addition to my growing collection of fabrics that you can use to create something personal. The fabric has music staves/staffs printed on it so you to use to stitch a piece of music without having to also stitch these (dull) lines! I have used it to stitch the first line of the song that my husband and I walked down the aisle to, aww….

This is a lightweight bleached organic calico fabric. It is GOTS certified and OEKO-TEX 100 certified fabric, bleached using organic dyes and printed with OEKO-TEX Eco Passport certified and GOTS ECOCERT certified inks (phew, what a mouthful!).

The fabric measures 68cm wide x 33cm high and contains 8 staves. The lines of the stave are 5mm apart. The fabric pack will also include a second piece of plain white cotton as I recommend that you double up the fabric in your hoop. A simple guide is included which contains a variety of notes and musical notations at the same scale as the fabric so that you can trace them on to it. This blog post contains a downloadable template that you can use to transfer your music to the fabric.

Important, please note – having experimented with designs for this fabric, I have learnt that whilst it is worked in a hoop, because of the dimensions and format of sheet music, the finished work will, in all likelihood, be quite rectangular in shape and therefore better suited to being presented in a classic picture frame (rather than in the hoop). You can now buy the fabric completely on it’s own (no plain white cotton or stitch guide). These are available in the following sizes

• 50cm (deep) x 68cm (wide)
• 1m (deep) x 68cm (wide)

Processing times and shipping

The processing time for ALL orders is 3 working days. This is regardless of whether you upgrade to the Tracked 48 option or not. If you need your order more urgently, please email me before placing your order to see if I can help!

Please note that whilst I’m more than happy to ship internationally, parcels may be subject to customs duties and you are responsible for the payment of these, they are not the responsibility of Little Light Stitchery. I am shipping to the USA and the import duties will be added on to your order at checkout. I’m afraid that due to the introduction of GPSR regulations in the EU, I am currently unable to ship to the EU or Northern Ireland. I send all international parcels using the Royal Mail International Tracked service. This price of this varies slightly between different regions and I will offer you a refund if the postage and packing costs ends up costing less that my website calculates. It’s very complex!
